Plan ahead now: Road closure scheduled for Pe‘e Road at intersection of Po‘ipū Road

Kaua’i County Department of Public Works and contractor Goodfellow Bros. notify the public about an upcoming closure of Pe‘e Road at the intersection of Po‘ipū Road.

The closure is scheduled from Feb. 23 to March 16, weather permitting.

A detour will be in place via Ho‘owili Road and Ho‘one Road to provide access to Pe‘e Road, as well as to properties and streets along Pe‘e Road, during the cloure.

The closure is necessary to accommodate ongoing construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Po‘ipū Road, Ala Kinoiki, and Pe‘e Road.

Motorists are urged to plan ahead and make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closure. They also are advised to use alternate routes and allow extra time to get to destinations if they must travel through the work area.

No parking will be allowed in the work zones, and flaggers will be at the construction site during work hours.
