Water system upgrade work scheduled near Līhu‘e Airport

Water system upgrade work is scheduled for next week on Ahukini Road near the main entrance to the Līhuʻe Airport.

The Kaua‘i County Department of Water and contractor Cushnie Construction Company will perform the work on Feb. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting. This water service shutdown is not expected to impact customers in the area, including the Līhuʻe Airport.

The purpose of the water service shutdown is for the Ahukini Makai subdivision project.
