Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation notifies road users that nightly closure of the intersection of Nāwiliwili Road and Kukui Grove Street — in the northbound direction — was rescheduled.
Closures and work now are planned for 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Feb. 17-20.
Originally slated for Feb. 8-13, the project was delayed because of severe weather.
The closure is necessary for crews to do an underground survey of utility infrastructure for future sewer and water installation at the intersection.
Traffic will be detoured to Halekō Road during the closure. Flaggers will be on-site and electronic signs will be posted.
All work and closures are weather permitting.
