Single-lane closures are scheduled in Līhu‘e for geotechnical subsurface exploration and improvements to Haleko Road.

According to Kaua‘i County’s Department of Public Works, they are contracting with GEOLABS to perform the work. Lane closures are scheduled along Haleko Road between Rice Street and Nāwiliwili Road, and Pua Loke Street, between Haleko Road and Puaiki Street, from Feb. 23 to 27, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists are advised to make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
