Swell Summary
Surf along north- and west-facing shores will trend up today as a medium- period northwest swell builds down the island chain. Heights could near the advisory levels by tonight before gradually easing Wednesday into Thursday. A larger northwest swell is expected later this week that will generate warning-level surf by Friday as it builds down the island chain and peaks. Surf along south-facing shores will trend up slightly today as a long-period background south swell arrives. Surf will remain small along east-facing shores due to the lack of trade winds.
