Bangkok Happy Bowl features island rhythm in February, with live Hawaiian music, hula
Bangkok Happy Bowl and Sushi Bar in Kōloa welcomes February with live Hawaiian music and hula performances nightly all month long, continuing its tradition of celebrating island culture through food, music and community.
The island’s only Asian restaurant offering live entertainment 7 nights a week remains a favorite gathering place for Garden Isle residents and visitors alike, serving authentic Thai and sushi dishes infused with the aloha spirit.

February weekly entertainment schedule
- Monday: Benson Broyles and Lance Mizumoto; smooth harmonies and classic island sounds.
- Tuesday: Michelle Walker and Cindy Jackson; dynamic duo, blending island, reggae, folk and jazz influences.
- Wednesday: Gaither Rosser; signature island sound with rotating special guests.
- Thursday: Lance Mizumoto; soulful island tunes and tropical vibes.
- Friday: Falling Down Romance (Diane Rubio and Dan Cruces); ʻukulele, cello and percussion infused with contemporary rhythm.
- Saturday: Falling Down Romance; upbeat island favorites and modern acoustic energy.
- Sunday: Bonnie Vannoy and Benson Broyles; nostalgic classics and laid-back island melodies.
“February is all about slowing down, savoring time together and enjoying the rhythm of island life,” said Bangkok Happy Bowl and Sushi Bar owner Kirk Coult in announcing the upcoming entertainment schedule. “Sharing live music alongside great food in a welcoming space is what Bangkok Happy Bowl is all about, and we love being a place where people can unwind and connect night after night.”
Performances are from 6 to 8:30 p.m. nightly in the restaurant’s open-air setting, featuring beloved Kauaʻi musicians and dancers who bring warmth, culture and energy to every evening.
