Equipment issues halt production of Kaua‘i ID cards, driver’s licenses and permits
The production of Kaua‘i identification cards, including driving permits, driver’s licenses, and state identification cards, is unavailable due to equipment issues, Kaua‘i County officials report.
The Division of Motor Vehicles staff continues to work with its vendors to restore full functionality as quickly as possible, and anticipates ID cards will become available on Jan. 26.
