Hawai‘i State Junior Golf Association Tour Championship winners announced
Hawai‘i State Junior Golf Association First Tee-Hawai‘i hosted the Tour Championship at The Club at Kukui‘ula from Dec. 6-7.
The event included 36 holes and was by invitation only. A total of 53 junior golfers from throughout the state teed up for the final event of the tour, which also awards points for the season and race to the coveted Hawai‘i State Junior Golf Association First Tee-Hawai‘i Player of the Year.

Tour Championship winners were:
- Boys 11-12: Kyle Trudell of Kula, Maui.
- Boys 13-14: Leo Saito of Hilo, Hawai‘i Island.
- Boys 15-18: Jake Otani of Hilo, Hawai‘i Island.
- Girls 11-12: Lucy Cui of Honolulu.
- Girls 13-14: Makena Yonemura of Waipahu, O‘ahu.
- Girls 15-18: Samantha Monroe of Honolulu.
Age divisions, par and approximate yardage from Hawai‘i State Junior Golf Association tees were:
- Boys 11-12: Par 72, Blue Tees (5,310 yards).
- Boys 13-14: Par 72, Gold Tees (6,688 yards).
- Boys 15-18: Par 72, Gold Tees (6,688 yards).
- Girls 11-12: Par 72, HSJGA Blue Tees (5,310 yards).
- Girls 13-14: Par 72, White Tees (5,795 yards).
- Girls 15-18: Par 72, White Tees (5,795 yards).
Nonprofit Hawai‘i State Junior Golf Association introduces golf and its traditions to the youth of Hawai‘i. The association develops life skills through fun, affordable and competitive programs that educate, motivate and inspire.
