Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i selected as Good Housekeeping 2026 Travel Awards winner
Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Resort & Spa, overlooking Keoneloa Bay, was recently named a winner in Good Housekeeping’s 2026 Travel Awards.
The full list of Good Housekeeping’s 2026 Travel Awards can be found at the Good Housekeeping website.

“We are honored to be recognized among Good Housekeeping’s 2026 Travel Awards,” said Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i General Manager Michael Murphy in an announcement about the award. “As this prestigious award is determined by professional travel testers and industry experts who experience a destination first-hand, it is a testament to the unforgettable experiences available at our beautiful Kaua‘i resort.”
Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i — on the sunny South Shore of the Garden Isle — provides a premier travel experience with something for everyone.
The resort features:
- Multi-tiered water wonderland featuring a 1.5-acre saltwater lagoon with sandy beaches.
- River pool with multiple waterfalls and grottos.
- Activity and adult pools surrounded by lush florals and black lava rock.
- On-site Ke Kumu O Hihinui cultural center to learn more about Hawaiian culture and traditions with Hawaiian language classes, hula and ‘ukelele demonstrations, plus more.
A weekly lūʻau showcasing vibrant dances of Polynesia is also a big draw, and championship golf is available at award-winning Poʻipū Bay Golf Course.
Luxurious spa treatments are just a hop, skip or jump away at Anara Spa, plus there are five on-site restaurants offering a variety of culinary delights.
For those looking to explore the island or take an adventure, resort partner and island-based adventure company Blue Hawaiian Activities offers everything from doors-off helicopter tours to snorkeling excursions.
“From the lūʻau to nighttime swimming, our entire trip to the Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i was a highlight reel of great experiences and great hospitality,” said Good Housekeeping’s professional travel tester in his notes.

The tester’s family of five surfed the wave breaks in front of the resort, but he noted: “Just a mile away from the hotel, there is a string of famous beaches that have calm waters and fun waves for families, plus lots of sea turtles.”
