Residential trash pickup in Kalāheo will be delayed because of staffing shortages, Kauaʻi County officials announced Monday.

Residents whose trash is not collected by 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 8 are asked to leave their carts at the curb. County officials expect to complete service for the remaining neighborhoods on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

The county apologized for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience. For updates, residents can call 808-241-4841 or email solidwaste@kauai.gov.

Additional information is available at kauai.gov/solidwaste.
