Kaua‘i police provide alternate phone numbers to use during electrical maintenance

Scheduled electrical maintenance work this weekend could temporarily impact the non-emergency phone line for Kaua‘i Police Department.

Police said the maintenance work is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 6).

Anyone who needs to make a non-emergency report during that time frame and who has difficulty reaching Kaua‘i Police Department on its normal non-emergency line at 808-241-1711 has can use two alternate numbers:

• 808-755-8516.
• 808-652-7837.

Police added that those who need to report an emergency should continue to use 9-1-1, which is not expected to be affected by the scheduled electrical maintenance.
