Līhu‘e Town Plaza welcomes 3 new tenants
Līhu‘e Town Plaza, located at 4180 Rice St., is continuing its strong leasing momentum with a new wave of tenants, including Hawai‘i Regional Council of Carpenters, Cozy Bowl LLC — an emerging ‘ulu-based pasta concept — and Blue Bird Kaua‘i, the plaza’s newest café, which opened Nov. 1 and is already a community favorite.

Their arrival highlights the growing demand for space in one of Kaua‘i’s most active and revitalized commercial corridors, where businesses are choosing Līhu‘e Town Plaza for its visibility, convenience and sense of place.
“We’re incredibly grateful to be part of the Līhu‘e Town Plaza community,” said Blue Bird Kaua‘i co-owner Kaiulani Tani in a release about the newest tenants a “When searching for a new space to bring Blue Bird Kaua‘i into a brick-and-mortar home, we were pleasantly surprised by how perfectly this location fit our vision.”
Tani added that the plaza’s central location allows Blue Bird Kaua‘i to better serve the community, and the business is thankful for the space and opportunity to continue growing there.
Located on Rice Street — the heart of Līhu‘e’s revitalization corridor — the plaza benefits from major public investment in streetscaping, lighting, landscaping, bike lanes and pedestrian-friendly walkways designed to support local businesses.
Coupled with recent capital improvements by the new ownership, Hawai‘i-based investment company SC Capital, Līhu‘e Town Plaza continues to be a modern and inviting hub for retail, dining, and professional services.
“The transformation of Līhu‘e Town Plaza has made it one of the most compelling retail locations on the island,” said the property’s leasing agent and Standard Commercial Senior Associate Sarah Ikioka in the release. “The ownership’s investments in meaningful improvements have strengthened the overall tenant experience, and we’re seeing strong interest from businesses drawn to the renewed energy and momentum along Rice Street.”
