Registration for 2026 Hoopster Plus Development Program to begin Nov. 26

Kaua‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation announces that online registration for the new 2026 Hoopster Plus Developmental Basketball Program opens later this month.

Registration will be available beginning at 8 a.m. Nov. 26 on the Parks and Recreation Basketball Programs website. There is no cost to join.

The Hoopster Plus program is open to boys and girls in fourth grade. It will run throughout January 2026.

This program is designed to help players transition from the Mini and Junior Hoopsters programs into more competitive leagues.

Sessions will take place at Kalāheo Neighborhood Center Gym. There will be 4 weeks of instruction with two sessions each week on Mondays and Wednesdays, for a total of eight sessions, beginning Jan. 5, 2026.
