Next Goodwill Industries of Hawai‘i reuse collection event coming up soon
The next Goodwill Industries of Hawai‘i reuse collection event is coming up at the end of this week.
Residents, businesses and other organizations can bring unwanted or unneeded items for reuse — including clothing, small furniture, kitchen items, children’s toys, books and shoes — to Kaua‘i Resource Center in Līhu‘e from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 21.

Clothing and textiles do not need to be in good condition; torn or stained clothing is OK.
Do not bring:
- eWaste.
- Chemicals.
- Medical equipment.
- Appliances.
- Food items.
- Baby items (other than clothing).
- Broken items.
Community members are encouraged to check with their local thrift stores to see if they can accept donations before bringing items to Kaua‘i Resource Center.
Goodwill requests the public remain in their vehicles while on-site because of health and safety concerns, heavy equipment in the area and to reduce the chance of injury to customers unloading heavy items.
Thrift stores and businesses can call 808-241-4838 to schedule pick-up service.
Residents requiring home pick-up can contact RP’s Random Closet at 808-346-0020. Note: RP’s Random Closet is a for-profit agency.
Call 808-241-4841 or visit the Kaua’i County website for additional information about general recycling or reuse.
Kaua‘i Resource Center is located at 3460 Ahukini Road.
