Kaua’i County offices to close in observance of Veterans Day

County of Kaua‘i offices and several county facilities will be closed on Tuesday, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.
The closures include all neighborhood centers, the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools, the Reynolds Recycling HI5 Redemption Center in Līhu‘e, the Kekaha Landfill, and all refuse transfer stations, county officials announced.
HI5 redemption centers in Kīlauea and Kapa‘a will remain open on the holiday.
Residential refuse collection will continue as scheduled, and the Kaua‘i Bus will operate on its regular scheduled routes.

Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume on Wednesday.
