Most facilities remain open and operating on regular hours, except for the Kapa’a Refuse Transfer Station that remains closed for renovations.

The Hanalei, Hanapēpē and Kekaha sites continue to provide full services, while the Kapa‘a Refuse Transfer Station remains closed for renovations through December, although green waste collection has resumed.

During the closure, residents can dispose of bagged household trash Friday through Sunday at the Kapa‘a Base Yard from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Residents are reminded that all refuse facilities are closed on holidays.
