Get in the game: Don’t miss registration for 2026 Mini, Junior Hoopster basketball

Kauaʻi County officials announce that registration for the 2026 Mini Hoopster and Junior Hoopster basketball leagues is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Thursday (Oct. 22-23).

In-person registration is on a first-come, first-served basis AT THESES LOCATIONS:

• Līhu‘e Neighborhood Center: 3353 ʻEono St., 808-241-4465.
• Kalāheo Neighborhood Center: 4480 Pāpālina Road, 808-332-9770.
• Hanapēpē Neighborhood Center: 4451 Pūʻolo Road, 808-335-3731.
• Waimea Neighborhood Center: 4556 Mākeke Road, 808-338-1122.

The registration form is also available online, which can be downloaded and emailed to Aota@kauai.gov

Mini Hoopsters are boys and girls in kindergarten and first grade, while Junior Hoopsters are boys and girls in second and third grade.

This program is free for participants.

Basketball season runs throughout January. Games will be on Saturdays, Jan. 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31, at Kalāheo Neighborhood Center Gym.
