Delayed trash service expected for several Kaua‘i communities

Residential trash pickup in Kōloa, ‘Ōma‘o, Lāwa‘i, and Po‘ipū communities will be delayed.
If Kōloa, ‘Ōma‘o, Lāwa‘i, and Po‘ipū have not yet been serviced by 3:30 p.m. today, Oct. 8, pickup for the remaining area is anticipated to be completed on Thursday, Oct. 9.
The county did not provide a reason for the delay.
