Kamalū Road repaving to require single-lane closures

Motorists can expect single-lane closures along Kamalū Road in Kapaʻa starting Wednesday.

The closures are necessary as Maui Kupono Builders, contracted by the Department of Public Works, repaves Kamalū Road from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Sept. 24 to Oct. 10.

Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic. However, frequent users are urged to make arrangements such as using alternate routes or allowing extra time to reach destinations.
