Delayed trash service expected for several Kaua‘i communities

Residential trash pickup in the Hanalei and Hā‘ena areas will be delayed due to staffing issues.

Residential trash pickup is also delayed in the Kalāheo and ‘Ele‘ele areas due to equipment issues, according to a press release this morning from Kaua‘i County.

Residents in these areas are advised that if trash hasn’t been picked up by 3:30 p.m., to leave their bins out and the remaining rubbish will get picked up on Friday.
