Motorists urged to make accommodations during Kekaha lane closures
Tree removal will result in lane closures along portions of Kekaha Road near ʻAkekeke Road beginning next week.
The lane closures are needed for public safety and to allow The Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions to remove a hazardous tree along the roadway, according to the Department of Public Works.

Motorists are advised to arrange for the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes and allow extra time to reach destinations from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 15-18, weather permitting.
During this time, parking will not be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
