Kaua‘i Police Department to adjust hours within records section for staff training

The Kaua‘i Police Department’s Records Section will have limited hours during two days in September for staff training.

The section will also be closed on Sept. 16 from 8 to 11 a.m., reopening immediately after until 4 p.m.

Firearms registration services will not be affected by these closures and will remain open during normal business hours.

Normal business hours for the Records Section are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding state and federally observed holidays. Firearms registration services are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
