Lane closures scheduled in Kōloa for guardrail repair

Lane closures along Kōloa Road are slated to occur this week for guardrail repair and installation work.

The Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works and its contractor, GP Roadway Solutions, will start work on Wednesday, which will continue through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Lane closures will take place along Kōloa Road between ‘Ōma‘o Road and Pu‘uwai Gardens, according to a county press release.

Motorists are advised to make arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures by using alternate routes and allowing extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones.

Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
