The fourth workshop for the East Kauaʻi Community and Circulation Plan will cover transportation this evening.

Community members are invited to participate in two more focused public workshops for the East Kauaʻi Community and Circulation Plan. The workshops will continue through September and are part of the department’s ongoing public engagement program.

The East Kauaʻi Community and Circulation Plan is a long-range planning initiative that addresses land use, transportation, infrastructure, housing, and more. It also emphasizes community priorities such as climate hazard resilience and the protection of cultural and historic resources.

“This planning process is about listening and learning together. We encourage all East Kauaʻi residents to be part of the conversation,” said Planning Director Kaʻāina Hull.
