Kauaʻi County Solid Waste Division reports that staffing issues have resulted in no trash collection today for residents of Kekaha, Waimea and portions of Hanapēpē.

It’s anticipated collection will resume for those areas during the latter half of this week.

Officials advise residents to leave their bins out, as service could restart before the estimated time later this week.

Additionally, trash from residences in the Kapa‘a and Wailuā Homesteads areas not collected July 21 will be picked up today.
