Hawai‘i Department of Transportation announces the following lane closures and road work projects for state roadways on the Garden Isle during the week of July 5-11.

KAUMUALI‘I HIGHWAY (HIGHWAY 50)
KĪPŪ
RIGHT LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction between mile posts 1.9 and 2.9, in the vicinity of Anonui Street and Kīpū Road, from midnight to 6 a.m. July 7-11 for cutting grass and guardrail clearing.
KĪPŪ TO ʻŌMAʻO
ROVING LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction between mile posts 2.9 and 8.7, in the vicinity of Kīpū Road and ʻŌmaʻo Road, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. July 6-11 for striping.
ʻŌMAʻO
RIGHT LANE CLOSURE in the eastbound direction between mile posts 7.9 and 8.2, in the vicinity of Pūneʻe Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 7-11 for tree trimming
KAUMAKANI TO WAIMEA
RIGHT LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction between mile posts 18.9 and 21.8, in the vicinity of Kaumakani Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 7-11 for clearing vegetation and fire break maintenance.

SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction between mile posts 8 and 9.5, in the vicinity of ʻAkia Road to Keālia Lookout, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. July 6-11 for resurfacing, concrete and electrical work. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.
PRINCEVILLE TO HANALEI
RIGHT LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction between mile posts 0 and 2, in the vicinity of Emmalani Drive and Hanalei River, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 7-11 for cutting grass.

SINGLE LANE CLOSURE in the Hāʻena-bound direction between mile posts 2.7 and 3.3, from Tahiti Nui and ʻAnae Road, between 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 7-11 for concrete work. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE in the Hāʻena-bound direction between mile posts 2.7 and 3.3, from Tahiti Nui and ʻAnae Road, between 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. July 7-11 for concrete work and paving. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction between mile posts 4.3 and 4.5, in the vicinity of Waikoko Bridge and Lumahaʻi Trailhead, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for slope stabilization of Waikoko Hillside. SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction between mile posts 0.1 and 4, in the vicinity of ʻOhana Street and Hawaiiana Street, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. July 6-11 for striping and marker installation.
SINGLE LANE CLOSURE possible in either direction between mile posts 1.7 and 4, in the vicinity of Kahawai Place and Hawaiiana Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 7-11 for striping and marker installation.
