2025 Kauaʻi County water quality reports now available for public to view

Kauaʻi County Department of Water announces that its 2025 water quality reports, also known as consumer confidence reports, are now available for the public to view.

The reports cover the period of Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024.

“Maintaining uncompromised quality and an adequate supply of water is our primary objective,” said county Water Department Manager and Chief Engineer Joe Tait in the county’s announcement. “[The Department of Water] is pleased to report that our water continues to meet or exceed both state and federal requirements for safe drinking water.”

Kauaʻi County’s water systems are tested regularly through Hawaiʻi Department of Health and the county Department of Water’s certified laboratory.

Drinking water meets all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency guidelines for safe drinking water, and any contaminants found were well below allowed levels.

Water quality reports for Kauaʻi’s water systems are available to the public online and as physical versions.

The following water quality reports are available:

  • Anahola Water System.
  • ʻAnini Water System.
  • Hāʻena-Wainiha Water System.
  • Hanalei Water System.
  • Hanapēpē-Eleʻele Water System.
  • Kalāheo-Kōloa Water System.
  • Kīlauea Water System.
  • Līhuʻe-Kapaʻa Water System.
  • Kekaha-Waimea Water System.

Visit the Kauaʻi County Department of Water website to view the 2025 water quality report for your area online.

Customers can also find the direct link to their local water system’s report on their monthly water bill.
