Goodwill to host reuse collection event at Kaua‘i Resource Center
The next Goodwill Industries of Hawai‘i reuse collection event is planned for the end of this week at Kaua‘i Resource Center.

Residents, businesses and other organizations can bring unwanted or unneeded items — including clothing, small furniture, children’s toys, books and shoes — for reuse from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday (June 27) to the center, located at 3460 Ahukini Road, in Līhu‘e.
Clothing and textiles do not need to be in good condition; torn or stained clothing also is OK.
Do not bring eWaste; chemicals; appliances; baby items, other than clothing; or broken items.
The public is encouraged to check with local thrift stores to see if they can take donations before bringing items to Friday’s reuse event at Kaua‘i Resource Center.
Goodwill requests members of the public remain in their vehicles while at the resource center because of health and safety concerns, heavy equipment in the area and in an effort to reduce the chance of injury to customers unloading heavy items.
Thrift stores and businesses are asked to call 808-241-4838 to schedule pickup service.
Resident’s requiring home pickup can contact Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 808-335-6105 or RP’s Random Closet at 808-346-0020 (Note: RP’s Random Closet is a for-profit agency).
Call 808-241-4841 or visit the Kaua‘i County website for information about general recycling and reuse.
