UPDATE: Police report missing woman has been located

Update at 8:07 p.m. June 21, 2025: Kaua‘i Police Department reports that 49-year-old Mary Kona, who was previously reported missing, was located and is in good health. Police thank the public for its assistance with finding her.

Original post published at 12:05 a.m. June 18, 2025: Kaua‘i Police Department is asking for the public’s help with finding a woman who has been missing since the end of May.

The department reports that 49-year-old Mary Kona, also known as Cassie Dux, who has no known permanent address, was last seen May 26.

Kona is 5-foot-5, about 130 pounds, with brown eyes and short brown hair. She has distinctive tattoos on her left arm, left wrist and left shoulder.
