Kaua‘i community invited to Touch-A-Truck annual event

Come get up close and personal with a fire engine during the Kaua‘i Police Department’s annual Touch-A-Truck event.

On Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon, keiki and keiki at heart can explore a variety of vehicles at the Vidinha Stadium parking lot in Līhu‘e, including a sanitation truck, dump truck, a police car and more.

Attendees at the event will have the opportunity to learn about the unique functions of each vehicle and get to meet the people who operate them, according to a county press release.

General parking will be provided on the northern side of the Vidinha Stadium parking lot, while the southern end will be blocked off for the vehicles on display.
