Guardrail work scheduled on roadway in Kapa‘a

Lane closures along portions of Kawaihau Road, between Kūhiō Highway and Kawaihau Place, are scheduled for next week for necessary guardrail repair work.

The work is scheduled to occur from May 27-28, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Kaua‘i County officials advise motorists to make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones.

Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
