Update: Kaua‘i Police Department non-emergency line again fully operational

Update at 12:18 p.m. May 7: Kaua‘i Police Department reports that service to its non-emergency line 808-241-1711 was restored earlier today (May 7). The phone line is now again fully operational.

However, in the event the line cannot be reached, the following backup numbers remain available for reporting non-emergencies:

  • 808-755-8516.
  • 808-652-7837.

Emergency 9-1-1 services also remain fully operational.

Original post from 12:15 p.m. May 6: Kaua‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-241-1711 is temporarily unavailable because of a disruption in phone service.

Emergency 9-1-1 service remains fully operational.

The public is advised to use the following alternative non-emergency contact numbers until the issue is resolved:

  • 808-755-8516.
  • 808-652-7837.

Various other county phone lines and voicemails also are down because of phone outage issues.
