Kaua‘i County Housing Agency announces free online fair housing training opportunity

Kaua‘i County Housing Agency announces an opportunity today (April 24) for landlords and tenants to learn about federal and state fair housing laws.

The 2025 Fair Housing Conference includes free online training — part of initiatives by county, state and federal agencies during National Fair Housing Month — that is planned for 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today via Cisco Webex meetings.

The conference theme this year is “Fair Housing in Hawai‘i.”

Experts from the Hawai‘i Civil Rights Commission and Legal Aid Society of Hawai‘i will participate in the training. These organizations will present and answer questions about various topics such as state law, fair housing 101, cultural practices, case studies and more.
