Hanalei transfer station accepting bagged trash only April 28-May 3

Kaua‘i County notifies the public that the Hanalei transfer station will accept bagged trash only — no loose mixed waste will be taken — from April 28 through May 3.
The temporary change is because of necessary repairs, weather permitting, scheduled for the facility’s drainage system to ensure regulatory compliance.
All other services will remain available.
