Celebrate all things ʻukulele during the 2025 Kauaʻi ʻUkulele Festival
Kauaʻi’s celebration of all things ʻukulele returns in less than 33 days.

Discover the cultural significance the ʻukulele plays as Hawaiʻi’s ambassador of aloha and more during the 2025 Kauaʻi ʻUkulele Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 13 at Kukui Grove Center in Līhuʻe.
“Our mission is to provide a world-class music festival experience that brings together music lovers from around the world to celebrate the power of music,” says the festival website.
The Kauaʻi ʻUkulele Festival is more than just a music festival.
“It’s a community of music lovers, artists and volunteers who come together to create a unique and unforgettable experience,” the website says.
Those who attend the free festival with be treated to live entertainment on the bandstand including well-known artists such as Aldrine and Aaron plus emerging artists from local schools and clubs. You get the chance to meet and engage with Kauaʻi’s local ʻukulele community.
You also will enjoy community information booths, ʻukulele merchants and ʻukulele inspired merchandise.
Plus, there will be a Hawaiian cultural activities zone with free ʻukulele lessons; a short Hawaiian Language introduction with vocabulary list on colors, days and months; and a kāpala stamping activity with hand-carved stamps by Na Maka Kahiko. All designs resemble a different meaning used when making kapa, or bark cloth, designs.
“Our vision is to create a music festival that showcases all things ʻukulele on Kauaʻi,” the festival website says. “The event not only entertains but also raises cultural awareness about the ʻukulele.”
The festival is presented by Special Events Hawaiʻi in partnership with Kala Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to Hawaiian culture, language, hula, music and spiritual preservation.
