Kauaʻi County schedules lane closures for week of Feb. 3-7, announces updated playcourt completion dates
Kauaʻi County Department of Public Works and its contactors announce the following lane closures for the week of Feb. 3-7.
All work and closures are weather permitting.
Motorists should make appropriate arrangements, use alternate routes and allow extra time to reach their destinations if they must drive through a work zone. Expect brief and occasional delays. Drive slowly.
No parking will be allowed in some work zones. Flaggers also will direct traffic in some areas.
Kauaʻi County Department of Parks and Recreation also updated its schedule for completion of playcourt resurfacing projects at three parks in Wailua and Puhi.
‘ELE‘ELE

A portion of ‘Uli‘uli Road, near ‘Ula‘ula Road and ‘Ākala Road, will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 3-7 for asphalt concrete sewer work. Call Josh Kukar at 808-260-5869, Khemara Tep at 949-274-3675 or Donald Fujimoto at 808-241-4083 with any questions or concerns.
KEKAHA
One-lane closure for portions of Kekaha Road, between ‘Akialoa Road to Manu Road, and Manu Road from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 3-7 for road resurfacing work. Kekaha Road will be affected Feb. 3-4 and Manu Road from Feb. 5-7. Area residents will be allowed partial access through the closure. LĪHU‘E

Lane closures along portions of Hulemalu Road were extended through Feb. 14. Work will be from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on weekdays only, for guardrail repair and installation work. PLAYCOURT UPGRADES
Kauaʻi County Department of Parks and Recreation announces updated estimated completion dates for its playcourt upgrade projects in Wailua and Puhi. Wailua Homestead Park is now expected to be finished Feb. 14, Wailua Houselots Park on March 7 and Puhi Park on June 13. While work is underway, the playcourts will be closed.
