Kaua‘i lane closures for week of Feb. 1-7
The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation notifies the public about its scheduled lane closures for Feb. 1-7 on Kaua‘i.
Lane closures can change at any time without notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— KAUMUALIʻI HIGHWAY (HIGHWAY 50) —
1) KŌLOA TO LĀWAʻI (NIGHT WORK)
Single lane closure possible in either direction from 12:30 to 5 a.m. Feb. 3-7, near Maluhia Road between mile posts 6 and 8, for cutting grass and clearing guardrails.
2) KEKAHA (24/7 CLOSURE)
Right lane closure possible in either direction between mile posts 24.37 and 24.46, in the vicinity of Kikiaola Boat Harbor, for replacement of culverts. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane. Details here.

1) KAPA‘A TO KEĀLIA (NIGHT WORK)
Single lane closure possible in either direction from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Feb. 2-7, between mile posts 8.1 and 9.7 in the vicinity of ʻĀkia Road and Mailihuna Road, for resurfacing, concrete and electrical work. Traffic will be alternated through the open lane.
2) ANAHOLA
Right lane closure possible in either direction from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 3-7, between mile posts 14 and 15 in the vicinity of Aliomanu Road, for grass cutting.
3) ANAHOLA (NIGHT WORK)
Right lane closure possible in either direction from 8 p.m. through 4 a.m. Feb. 5-6, between mile posts 15.1 and 15.5, in the vicinity of Aliomanu Road to Pāpa’a Road, for guardrail repair
4) KALIHIWAI TO PRINCEVILLE (NIGHT WORK)
Single lane closure possible in either direction from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Feb. 2-7, between mile posts 24.4 and 25.6 in the vicinity of Kahiliholo Road and ʻAnini Vista Drive near the Princeville Airport, for cold planning and re-paving.
5) PRINCEVILLE (NIGHT WORK)
Right lane closure possible in either direction from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Feb. 2-3 and Feb. 6-7, between mile posts 0.5 and 1 in the vicinity of Hanalei Plantation Road, for guardrail repair.
6) HANALEI (NIGHT WORK)
Right lane closure in the northbound direction from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Feb. 3-4, between mile posts 2 and 2.5, from 8 p.m. Monday, for guardrail repair.
7) HANALEI (NIGHT WORK)
Right lane closure possible in either direction from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Feb. 4-5, between mile posts 2.5 and 3 in the vicinity of Pāpio Place and Mahimahi Road, for guardrail repair.
8) WAIKOKO
Single lane closure possible in either direction from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 3-7, between mile posts 4.3 and 4.5, for clearing and grubbing of the mauka shoulder. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

Right lane closure possible in either direction from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 3-7, between mile posts 0.08 and 0.6 in the vicinity of Wilcox Road and Lala Road, for grass cutting.

Single lane closure possible in either direction from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 3-7, between mile posts 0 and 1.5, for striping and marker installation. Traffic will be alternated through the open lane.

Right lane closure possible in either direction from 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 1, between mile posts 8 and 9, for grass cutting and tree trimming.

Single lane closure possible in either direction from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 3-7, between mile posts 11.5 and 14, for shoulder stabilization, guardrail and striping. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.
