Kaua‘i County offices to be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Kaua‘i County notifies the public that its offices will be closed Jan. 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The following facilities also will be closed:

  • All neighborhood centers.
  • Puhi Metals Recycling Center.
  • Kekaha Landfill.
  • HI5 redemption centers.
  • All county transfer stations.

Because the Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools are usually closed Mondays, staff will observe the holiday Jan. 21.

The schedule for residential rubbish pickup will remain unchanged. The Kaua‘i Bus will operate on its holiday schedule.
