Portions of Hanapēpē Town Park, Lucy Wright Park closed through April

The public is reminded that portions of Hanapēpē Town Park and Lucy Wright Park in Waimea are closed for construction through April.

Crews are dismantling the playground as well as installing water, electrical and sewer utilities along with a new restroom facility at Hanapēpē Town Park.

Construction of a new playground at the park is expected to begin this summer.

Demolition of the existing restrooms, installation of a new restroom and improvements of the pavilion are being done by crews at Lucy Wright Park.
