Lane closures continue through Friday for several Kekaha roadways

Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works and contractor Maui Kupono Builders are performing resurfacing work on several Kekaha roadways this week requiring lane closures.

Area residents will only be allowed partial access through the closures scheduled through Friday as work continues from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, weather permitting.

The following roads are affected:

• Iwipolena Road.
• Mahiko Road.
• ‘Iwa Street.
• Nēnē Road.
• Pueo Road.
• ‘Elepaio Road.

Residents and motorists should make appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary closures and allow extra time to get to their destinations.

No parking is allowed in the work zones. Flaggers are present directing traffic.
