Public reminded about county holiday closures
Kaua‘i County is reminding the public that its offices and services will be closed Christmas Day, Dec. 25, and New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2025.
Holiday closures also include the following facilities:
- All neighborhood centers.
- All refuse transfer stations.
- Kekaha Landfill.
- Puhi Metals Recycling Center.
- Līhu‘e HI5 Redemption Center.
- Waimea and Kapa‘a swimming pools.
- Kapa‘a Sunshine Market at Kapa‘a Beach Park.
County offices and services will resume regular business hours Dec. 26 and Jan. 2, 2025, the day after each holiday.
The schedule for residential refuse pick up will remain unchanged. The Kaua‘i Bus will also operate on its regular schedule during the holidays.
