Reminder: Kaua‘i County Buildings Division closed this week

Kaua‘i County is reminding the public that the Department of Public Works Buildings Division is closed — and its services unavailable — through Friday.

The closure is necessary to allow division staff to move back to their offices at the Mo‘ikeha Building.

Equipment and hardware will also be installed and connected, limiting the building permit electronic plan review and online status services. Those services, including telephone and email inquiries, will be unavailable until next week.

The Buildings Division and its services are scheduled to resume Dec. 23.
