Lane closures in effect today and Tuesday for portions of Kekaha

Garden Isle motorists are advised that lane closures are in effect for several roadways in Kekaha today and Tuesday, weather permitting.

Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works and Maui Kupono Builders announced lane closures from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for the following roads:

• Iwipolena Road.
• ‘Iwa Street.
• Moho Road.
• Nēnē Road.

The closures are necessary for road resurfacing work.

Area residents will be allowed partial access through the closures.

Motorists should make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the closures and allow extra time to get to their destinations.

Flaggers will be directing traffic.

No parking will be allowed in the work zones.
