Tree trimming and removal scheduled along roadway in Lāwa‘i

Lane and intermittent road closures along portions of Kuli Road are scheduled for trimming and removing trees growing along the roadway.

The closures are slated for Dec. 16 to 17. The Department of Public Works is contracting with Cutting-Edge Land Clearing Solutions to get the work completed.

The contractor will close laneways from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and intermittent 15- to 30-minute full road closures throughout the work day in the vicinity of Kaumuali‘i Highway.

Make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary lane closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
