Lane closure continues through today for portion of Weliweli Road in Kōloa

A
A portion of Weliweli Road in Kōloa remains closed through today as crews complete the installation of a temporary waterline.
The Kaua‘i County Department of Public Works and contractor Cushnie Constrution announced that a one-lane closure would be set up in either a westbound or eastbound direction during working hours from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
The project began Monday.

Motorists are advised to continue to allow additional drive time and exercise caution. Drive slowly when commuting through the work area.
