Kauaʻi weekly lane closures for Nov. 30-Dec. 6

The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation announces its schedule of weekly lane closures for Nov. 30 to Dec. 6.

The public is reminded that the schedule can change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

— KAUMUALI‘I HIGHWAY (HIGHWAY 50) —

KEKAHA (24/7 CLOSURE)

Right lane closure possible in either direction between mile post 24.37 to 24.46, in the vicinity of Kikiaola Boat Harbor, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for replacement of culverts. Details can be found here.

— KŪHIŌ HIGHWAY (HIGHWAYS 56/560) —

HANAMĀʻULU

Single lane closure possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Hanamāʻulu Road and Kapule Highway, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for installation of ADA warning system.

KĪLAUEA

Right shoulder closure in the northbound direction, between milepost 21.51 to 21.62 in the vicinity of Wailapa Road, on from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday for adjustment of valve boxes.

PRINCEVILLE TO HANALEI

Roving single-lane closure possible in either direction, between mileposts 0 and 2 from the vicinity of Princeville Shopping Center to China Ditch, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday for grass-cutting.

PRINCEVILLE TO HANALEI

Single lane closure possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Hanalei Plantation Road and ‘Ōhiki Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for drain line and storm manhole installations. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

HANALEI TO WAINIHA

Single lane closure possible in either direction, between milepost 4.19 to 6.36 from Waikoko Bay to the vicinity of Ananalu Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for installation of new Hawaiian Telcom poles.

WAIKOKO

Single lane closure possible in either direction, between milepost 4.6 to 4.9 in the vicinity of Waikoko Bridge and Lumaha‘i Beach, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for slope stabilization.

— WAIMEA CANYON DRIVE (HIGHWAY 550) —

KŌKE‘E

Single lane closure possible in either direction, between milepost 11.5 to 14, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for repaving work. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.
