Swell Summary

Tiny surf along north facing shores will linger through today as a short period north swell fades. Mostly flat conditions will return tonight then hold through the first half of next week. Surf along east facing shores will gradually become rough and choppy today. Near seasonal average surf will return for east facing shores over the weekend and persist through the first half of next week as trades build locally and upstream. A mix of background southwest and southeast swells will produce small surf for south facing shores over the next few days. No signs of any forerunners from a new small, long period south- southwest swell at the offshore buoys early this morning. Thus, have delayed the onset to later this afternoon and evening. This new swell should refresh some small surf along south facing shores over the weekend with a gradual downtrend early next week.
