Road resurfacing work scheduled in Līhu‘e

A portion of Wa‘apa Road in Līhu‘e, from Niumalu Bridge to the entrance of Young Brothers Hawai‘i, will be closed Sept. 16 to 20, for road resurfacing work.

Work will take place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists are advised that full closures may be intermittent. However, access will be available to driveways and residents in the area.

Make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations. During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
