Road closure scheduled in Kōloa for tree-trimming work

A portion of Maluhia Road, from mile marker 2 to mile marker 3, will be closed on Sept. 3 for tree-trimming work.

Work will occur from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. One lane will remain open to accommodate alternating traffic in both directions.

Motorists are advised to make the appropriate arrangements to accommodate the necessary road closures, use alternate routes, and allow extra time to get to destinations.

During this time, no parking will be allowed in the work zones. Flaggers will be positioned at the work zone to direct traffic.
