Visitor on Kaua‘i dies after found unresponsive at beach

A man visiting from Chattanooga, Tennessee, found unresponsive at Kalihiwai Beach has died.
Jesse W. Eidson, 43, was initially found on Aug. 21 at 1 p.m. He was transported to the Wilcox Medical Center and later medevacked to Queen’s Medical Center on O‘ahu, where he passed away the next day.
Based on the preliminary findings from an autopsy and witness statements, foul play is not suspected.
